Derby DIY

I like it when people say nice things about the DIY scene me and Dean have built up again in Derby. It’s real nice. Case in point:

It makes me feel like I’m definitely doing something right, but to be compared to the scene that I take so much inspiration from is truly incredible. I love what I do, and I plan to keep doing it as long as I can. There’s some amazing shows to announce over the coming weeks, and there’s some awesome shows to come to anyway. There’s Cobra Skulls/Dirty Tactics, Laura Stevenson, Leatherface, OWTH and many more. I’m so happy to be doing this. I’m gonna relaunch the site in a couple of days as a more zine based thing instead of a shitty tumblr. Thanks all for coming and I hope to see you at more…

Truthfully, I dunno how many of you are even from the UK, let alone the Midlands. However if you are, it’d be totally rad if you could join the group (click the image) and support us. Derby DIY Collective is a well, collective formed by myself and my good friend Dean purely to bring back DIY punk shows to Derby. We’ve got a few in the works that’ll be announced soon but we miss the shows. We’ve had some huge bands play here and we want ‘em back! Watch this space x
